- Call your council member and tell him or her that trash is a big problem in your neighborhood. Programs to encourage reusable bags work! You can find your council member by clicking here.
- Testify at a council hearing, likely to be scheduled soon. Contact us for more info.
- Talk about trash on social media. Be sure to use the #bmorebagsmart tag to show your support!
- Help us give reusable bags out to the community. Planning an event or public meeting in your neighborhood? Let us know!
- Carry reusable bags with you when you shop, or refuse a bag when you're buying only a couple of items.
- Give reusable bags to friends and family. They make a great gift!
